Stochastic optimization

SHOP is usually run as a deterministic model where all input attributes are known quantities. By adding several scenario objects with a defined probability, it is possible to perform a stochastic optimization in SHOP. Market price and reservoir inflow are the typical candidates for stochastic input data, where optimal dispatch decisions must be made based on the uncertain future price and/or inflow.
