penalty flag#

Choose if specific constraint types should be included or excluded from the optimization model. Note that the SOFT_CONSTRAINTS_FUNCTIONALITY license is required for soft constraints.

Penalty Flags#

An option to include penalty functions is provided by turning on and off penalty flags with the command:

penalty flag /<option1> /<option2> (/<option3>)

If command not set: The reservoir, load, power limit and discharge penalty flags will be turned on. The plant schedule penalty flag will be turned off, while the other license protected penalty flags will be ignored.

Note that these flags will be valid for all plants, gates and reservoirs in the system. The penalty flag can also be given as a time series for each constraint. Setting the penalty flag by giving the commands has priority over the time series constraints.
