# Tunnel modelling

Complex tunnel systems with multiple junctions and connected [reservoirs](reservoir) and creek intakes are not uncommon in Norwegian hydropower systems. The [](tunnel) object was created to replace the old [](junction), [](junction_gate), and [](creek_intake) objects, and to be able to model more complex systems.
